Stage 1 Tuning

A stage 1 remap is an actual adjustment of the factory-installed vehicle's ECU parameters to unleash the power that the manufacturer may have left untapped. There are several fuel requirements available for Stage 1 remaps, which will lead to higher power output.

Stage 2 Tuning

The ideal upgrade for hybrid turbos, FMICs, induction kits, exhausts, and downpipes is a stage 2 performance remap. A high-quality exhaust system combined with an excellent air intake filter or induction kit is used in stage two performance remapping. Because of the increased heat produced, you will need to improve the intercooler to give your car a much stronger core, more surface area, and maybe larger intercooler intake and exit.

Stage 3 Tuning

For most autos, stage 3 is the final tuning stage. It's up for debate what modifications are necessary for a tune to be categorised as stage 3, but at the very least, this is when an enhanced supercharger or turbocharger—like a hybrid turbo—is added.
